Simply go to your home page, and if you hold your mouse over the top right hand corner of any post, a box labelled "hide" appears. This lets you hide posts from either that friend or the application that posted the message (like quiz results)!! Simply go to your home page, and if you hold your mouse over the top right hand corner of any post, a box labelled “hide” appears. This lets you hide posts from either that friend or the application that posted the message (like quiz results)!!

Cant believe FB took away this feature. Knew I had done it before, thought I was going mad after looking for about an hour! (I was getting in-unadated with every friend Jimmy Carr made at one point! - took up the whole newsfeed!) There is a need for it coz some people like to promote themselves alot and some like to update date their every move! and it all gets a bit of a pain. Yeah this link has been done away with….
